Hospitality companies have made additions and promotions, including a new CEO at WTS International.
WTS International Names Goldstein as CEO
WTS International, a portfolio company of private equity firm CI Capital Partners and a global provider of hospitality and amenity services for commercial, residential and hotel properties, has appointed Barry Goldstein as CEO.
Goldstein has more than 30 years of executive leadership experience at both Fortune 100 companies and privately held organizations, in management consulting, consumer packaged goods, information technology and, for the last 17 years, in the hospitality industry.
From 2019 through 2021, he was chief commercial & marketing officer for Club Quarters Hotels. Prior to that, he was EVP/chief commercial officer, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts; SVP/chief revenue & information officer, Dolce Hotels & Resorts; and VP, global sales strategy, technology & operations, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.
Palaschak promoted at Remington
Third-party management company Remington Hotels has promoted Lee Palaschak to SVP, operations.
With more than 29 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Palaschak joined the Remington Hotels team in March 2020 as divisional VP, operations. In this role, he developed and executed cost-effective systems for the West Region. In addition to this, he was instrumental in assisting with the successful transitions of newly acquired hotel operations at Hotel Paradox Santa Cruz and Mr. C Beverly Hills, according to the company.
Palaschak has worked with hospitality brands including Winegardner & Hammons and Commonwealth Hotels. He came to Remington Hotels from Aimbridge Hospitality where he was SVP, operations, overseeing 50 full-service and select-service branded hotels, lifestyle hotels and resorts.
Goldrich appointed chief experience officer at The Hotels Network
The Hotels Network has named Michael J. Goldrich to the global role of the chief experience officer.
He is responsible for optimizing the hotelier’s experience as they grow their direct channel by using The Hotels Network’s solutions to attract, engage and convert visitors throughout the online booking journey.
Formerly head of global digital marketing at Club Quarters Hotels, he had a goal to grow brand contribution while shifting the post-pandemic target business segment to younger local leisure travelers. He has worked at Starwood, Accenture, Monster Worldwide, Dolce Hotels & Resorts and Wyndham.
