LONDON—International hotel management company Kew Green Hotels has formed a global partnership with Light Human Hotels to exclusively provide management services to its international portfolio, with properties launching from the end of 2021 in destinations including Miami; Paris and Toulon, France; the island of Corsica; São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and Vila Real and Porto, Portugal.
Light Human Hotels, translated as “a vision of things to come,” are designed to generate human interaction, and provide meaningful experiences, according to the company. All hotels reflect an urban reinterpretation of nature and culture, each differing in design and feel. By reimagining existing buildings, Light Human Hotels are advocates of sustainable development through bioclimatic architecture. Collaborations for all hotels include spa services by L’Occitaine, gastronomy designed by a Michelin Star chef and architecture by Atelier Arcau.
“Our aim at Light Human Hotels is to go far beyond the traditional vision of hotels and welcome all generations in authentic, sustainable and unexpected ‘places to live.’ We are excited to partner with Kew Green Hotels and together deeply rethink what a boutique hotel is, providing more human interaction, urbanity and wellbeing inside our metropolitan villages.” said Julien Veyron, Light Human Hotels president.
Jean-Pierre Bandeira, founder/CEO of Light Human Hotels, noted, “We offer limitless opportunities to reimagine hospitality through human connection and service innovation. Given the times we find ourselves in, as people assess the value of travel and the need for authentic connection, we believe the time is right for the acceleration of Light Human Hotels across the world.”
Chris Dexter, CEO of Kew Green Hotels, said, “We are delighted to be partnering with Light Human Hotels, an exciting and innovative hotel concept, which extends our global footprint and cements our ambition to become the leading international hotel management company. We look forward to bringing a new, true kind of hospitality, delivered by our award-winning Kew Green team, to each of the hotels.”
