Edition Plots 2021 Global Growth

INTERNATIONAL REPORT—Edition Hotels has revealed plans for its further international expansion in 2021, with the slated opening of seven new properties across three continents.

The new openings include sites in Rome; Madrid; Dubai; Reykjavik; Tampa, FL; Mexico’s Riviera Maya at Kanai; and its second property in Tokyo. With 11 hotels worldwide currently, 2021 will underscore the brand’s exponential growth with a total of 18 properties globally. Edition Hotels ongoing expansion includes many further sites expected to open in 2022 and beyond.

Edition Hotels redefine the concept of luxury through offering an unexpected collection of one-of-a-kind hotels, according to the brand. Conceived by Ian Schrager, the brand also benefits from the global scale and operational expertise of Marriott International.

Each new property will be individually developed in collaboration with a designer chosen specifically for that location, and introduce original F&B concepts from international chefs. The end result offers the best of dining and entertainment, services and amenities “all under one roof.”

The new Edition properties are:

  • The Reykjavik Edition – Summer 2021
  • The Tokyo Edition, Ginza – Fall 2021
  • The Rome Edition – Fall 2021
  • The Madrid Edition – Fall 2021
  • The Dubai Edition – Fall 2021
  • The Riviera Maya Edition at Kanai – Winter 2021
  • The Tampa Edition – Winter 2021
