Donohoe Hospitality Services Adds Dana English
Donohoe Hospitality Services, a division of Donohoe, has appointed Dana English as CFO. She joins the company from Real Hospitality Group (RHG), where she was CFO and led a team of 25 accounting professionals and was responsible for 110 branded and independent hotels.
English brings more than 23 years of experience to her new position. In addition to her tenure at RHG, she was senior manager at CPA firm Cohen Reznick, where she helped build the hospitality advisory practice. She also served as corporate controller at Modus Hotels and held multiple senior leadership positions with Marshall Hotels and Resorts. She began her career at the front desk at a family-owned hotel.
EDSA Fills Leadership Positions
EDSA, a planning, landscape architecture and urban design firm, has promoted B. Scott LaMont to CEO and Eric B. Propes as COO.
LaMont is a 24-year veteran of EDSA. As CEO, his responsibilities include overseeing the 120-person firm, setting the tone of a firm-wide culture and developing a growth strategy that prioritizes excellence. He has a proven track record in leading teams, projects and strategic initiatives. His global experience spans large-scale planning assignments to mixed-use, residential, hospitality, and urban works that have strengthened EDSA’s reputation as a design leader.
Propes, a 20-year veteran of EDSA, challenges the status quo by exploring pioneering ideas and creative solutions that emphasize exceptional project outcomes. In his new position, Propes will drive operational advancement by leveraging internal processes and improving efficiencies across the design-delivery continuum. He will also be responsible for overseeing the firm’s virtual design and construction team.
Lorie McBrien Joins Vector Travel
Lorie McBrien has joined multifamily hospitality company Vector Travel as VP of sales, where she will lead the company’s national expansion in delivering its turnkey hospitality solution to more companies within the multifamily sector.
Prior to assuming her latest role, McBrien led growth at Airbnb’s multifamily division as their manager of strategic real estate rentals, where she owned all aspects of client partnership development including strategy, personnel development, client relationships, sales production and reporting. She has also held leadership positions at Realogy, Yardi, RentPath and Invitation Homes/Waypoint Homes..
O’Brien will help lead Vector’s national expansion efforts with conventional multifamily providers in stabilized and lease-up buildings with vacancy issues that can be solved through short-term rental activities.
